Can you please give us an example of the minimum 10 years mentioned as a criteria?
You and your other half must have lived in together, or have been through a Civil Marriage for 10 years or more, or a combination of live in and civil marriage years.
Examples below that will be acceptable:
If you have been living in together for 5 years, and been through a Civil Marriage for 7 years.

You have been civilly married for 10 years.

What happens if my partner and myself qualify?
Please email alma.villalobos@acfc-catholic.org.nz with your details of yourself and partner and the number of years that you have been together. If you are married through a Civil Ceremony (e.g. through a judge or justice of the peace), you will be requested to present your marriage license to the priest.
For couples that have been living in together without a Civil Ceremony, you must be ready to apply for a Marriage Certificate or License at https://marriages.services.govt.nz/.
What happens if we are not qualified but still interested to be part of this event?
If you do not qualify for this event, please let us know if you like us to keep your contact details for the next Kasalang Bayan.
